The Painters Rockhampton team brings together a practical approach to painting, a connection to Central Queensland and an appreciation for careful workmanship. We believe customers should feel comfortable discussing their property and asking questions about the painting process.
Daniel grew up around Rockhampton and developed his interest in painting while helping maintain family homes and weathered timber surfaces. He particularly enjoys the preparation and finishing details involved in traditional Queenslander properties. Away from painting, he likes fishing along the Fitzroy River and spending time outdoors with his family.
Matthew has a practical interest in exterior coatings, timber preparation and the work involved in refreshing established homes. He enjoys the challenge of weatherboard houses, particularly where careful surface preparation can make a noticeable difference. Outside work, he likes camping trips and exploring Central Queensland with his family.
Sarah focuses on interior finishes, colour discussions and helping organise painting work around customers' daily routines. She enjoys seeing how fresh colours and neatly finished trims can change the feel of a room. Away from work, she enjoys gardening, visiting local markets and spending time with friends around Rockhampton.
We begin by listening to what the customer wants to achieve. Every property is different, so we discuss the surfaces, existing paint condition, preparation needs and any concerns before planning the work. Daniel's preparation-focused approach, Matthew's interest in exterior surfaces and Sarah's attention to interiors and organisation shape how we approach painting projects.
Once the scope is clear, we focus on appropriate preparation, protecting the property and maintaining straightforward communication. We believe customers should know when a surface needs repair or specialist assessment before painting. Our aim is to make the process understandable and manageable, from the initial enquiry through to the final review.
